Audition Packet

The Audition packet is now available here on the blog. Click the link in the right panel--->
The packet includes the contract that must be signed by a parent or guardian in order to audition, the monologues and the music for the audition. Happy practicing and hope to see your kids January 9th or 10th for auditions!

Willy Wonka Jr is coming to Rosecrest!

Come with me and you'll be in a world of pure imagination.

We are excited to announce this years musical, Willy Wonka Jr. Try-outs will be January 9th & 10th and are open to all 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. Audition packets and student surveys will be ready soon.   Performance dates are March 15-17th. Please check this blog for updates and follow us on instagram @rosecrestperformance. We will be needing stage crew members as well and more information is pending for them too.  We can't wait to get to work.

Parent Help Still Needed

We're HERE!!!  The show is ready and the kids are prepared!  Aladdin is going to be a great show!  We still have need for some parent help and we're hoping some of you who haven't had a chance to help out will jump in and join the fun. 

We still have a few holes in each sign up, so those links are below.  Remember if you are unable to contribute your time--you are asked to contribute your money ($20)--but we really prefer your time.  We have the most pressing need in backstage supervision of performers during the shows.  We also still have room for clean up after each performance.

Rehearsals & Performances

Information

Students need to bring a basket, bag, crate, something, to hold all their personal belongings during the show (makeup, costume, etc.)

Monday, March 14 dress rehearsal:

-Students need to be ready by 3:30pm, this includes hair & makeup

Tuesday, March 15 dress rehearsal:

-Students need to be ready by 3:30pm, this includes hair & makeup

-We will be doing cast photos beginning promptly at 3:35pm

Wednesday, March 16 school performance:

-Students need to be ready by 12:30pm

-The school performance will start at 1:00pm

Wednesday (March 16) & Thursday (March 17) evening performances:

-Students need to be ready (hair & makeup) and at the school by 6:00pm.

-The show will begin at 7:00pm

Friday, March 18 matinee performance:

-Students will stay after school to get ready

-Students need to be ready (hair & makeup) by 1:15pm

-The matinee will begin at 2:00pm

Friday, March 18 evening performance:

-Students need to be ready (hair & makeup) and back at the school by 6:00pm

-The show will begin at 7:00pm

Volunteers needed for backstage supervision!

You will help the cast be quiet while waiting their turn to go on stage, make sure the cast is safe and that they are following the rules!
