Monday, March 12 dress rehearsal:

-Students need to be ready by 3:30pm, this includes hair & makeup

Tuesday, March 13 dress rehearsal:

-Students need to be ready by 3:30pm, this includes hair & makeup

Wednesday, March 14 school performance:

-Students need to arrive at school ready with hair and makeup

-The school performance will start at 8:30am

-We will have cast photos after the school performance

Wednesday (March 14) & Thursday (March 15) evening performances:

-Students need to be ready (hair & makeup) and at the school by 6:00pm.

-The show will begin at 7:00pm

Friday, March 16 matinee performance:

-Students will stay after school to get ready

-Students need to be ready (hair & makeup) by 1:15pm

-The matinee will begin at 2:00pm

Friday, March 16 evening performance:

-Students need to be ready (hair & makeup) and back at the school by 6:00pm

-The show will begin at 7:00pm

FOOD AND BELONGINGS

Students need to bring a basket, bag, crate, something, to hold all their personal belongings during the show (makeup, costume, etc.).  Please mark all belongings with your performer’s name. Absolutely NO FOOD/CANDY will be allowed backstage, so please be sure your performer is well fed before coming to performances. Students should come with a water bottle to keep hydrated--it gets awfully hot backstage and onstage!

Costume Check March 1st

We hope you are busy putting your costume together, but know that getting all of the pieces together is difficult.  Tomorrow, March 1st, we will have a costume check.  This will give you the opportunity to receive feedback on your costume and make changes if necessary.  It will also give you the opportunity to ask questions and work through issues.  Please bring your costume to rehearsal and we will call on students individually.  If you also would like to be there, you are welcome to come!

As a reminder, if your child has an individual role in the show, you received an email directly from me with instructions.  If your child is in a group or chorus, I have listed the individuals planning the costumes for that group below.  These individuals are responsible for communicating with each of you.  As I receive information from them, I will also post it on the blog under links in the sidebar.

TICKETS to Beauty and the Beast, Jr.

We are excited to try online ticketing this year, combined with assigned seating. Yay!  No more standing in line for hours!  However, we are also terrified that it will not go well.  We hope this information will help you have the best experience possible with our new plan.  Tickets will go on sale Friday, March 2nd at 6:00PM.

INSTRUCTIONS

• Go to the following website:  https://rosecrest-performance.ticketleap.com/beauty-and-the-beast-jr/
• Choose the show time you wish to attend and click GET TICKETS.
• For most devices, you have two options from the next screen.  On the left, you can select the section you wish to be placed in from a drop down menu.  On the right, you can select “Choose Your Own Seats”.  “Choose Your Own Seats” is the best option if you want to be able to specify where you want to sit.  Look carefully for this option.
• Different devices have different capabilities with the website.  Some devices cannot select seats individually and seats will be selected for you based on what is still available (seats are prioritized front to back with preference to the middle aisle).  Most browsers  for desktop computers have the capability to self-select seats, so order tickets from a desktop if this is important to you. A map of the cafegymatorium is below to help you determine which section to choose if you can select a section, but you are unable to select a seat.
• Wheelchair accessible seats are available.  If this is your need, please look for these sections.  Please leave these seats available for our patrons who need accommodation, unless no other seat is available.  The larger cost for wheelchair seats covers the three chairs next to the wheelchair seat.  This ticket allows up to four to enter.
• Your printed ticket will allow you entrance into the show, so you must PRINT and present your ticket at the door.

Some Schedule Clarifications!

Dear Cast and Parents,

Our show is going so well and the cast has been so great to work with .  Here are a few dates to take note of so you do not get confused and miss any rehearsals.

February 22nd and March 1 are choreography review days..All choruses -Be Our Guest, Human Again, Villagers, Gaston Chorus, and Wolves  need to be there both days.

Scene 12 on February 26 and 27 includes all Villagers.

Block Scene 13 on Feb. 27 means everything to the end of scene 12 so this includes  Main Servants and Flatware.

Review Act 2 on Feb. 28 includes all scenes from scene 7 after Be Our Guest to end of show.
Act 1 includes Scenes 1-7 up to the end of Be Our Guest.

T-shirt Orders

We are ready to order t-shirts and hoodies.  Cast member shirts and hoodies are royal blue with gold printing.  Crew member shirts and hoodies are black with gold printing AND have STAGE CREW printed on the back.  Crew members are required to purchase a t-shirt, but may purchase hoodies if they would like one too. Please print the form you need (CLICK FOR CAST FORM or CLICK FOR CREW FORM) and fill it out, then enclose it with your payment in an envelope and give to the front office staff. 

 Order by February 20th!
